The cottage

Cottage's frontAbout the Cottage

Our eighteenth century cottage, once the home to a winemaker, has been given a new lease of life. It has been renovated throughout and given modern amenities: a new roof with double insulation, double glazed windows and doors, a wooden staircase, a complete electrical re-wiring and a shower room, whilst, at the same time, we have kept the charm of the original building.

The dining room
The cottage is built from stone and upstairs the walls have been renovated back on two sides to expose the original stonework, and the windows and doors downstairs have had their stone surrounds exposed.

The original quarry tile flooring has been preserved downstairs, as has the mantelpiece which is of traditional Burgundy design and carved out of stone.

Living room

There is both a private back garden complete with barbecue, and a small front garden.

Both contain garden furniture for outdoor eating.

Off-road parking available.
